A big transformation for a few crowns: Renovating your wooden kitchen cabinet without replacing the door
Renovating your kitchen cabinet doors is the most effective way to change the look of the entire room. You can achieve a modern look with new handles and, most importantly , a high-quality, highly resistant coating that can handle the grease and moisture in the kitchen environment.
DIY procedure: First, dismantle the wooden door, clean it thoroughly and degrease it. Light sanding will ensure better adhesion of the subsequent paint. After cleaning, apply a top coat. To achieve a smooth and durable film, we recommend the following procedure. Use AQUACOL PRIMER V2070 for the first layer. It works as a filler for wood, dries quickly and is easy to sand. As the next layer, use the water-based paint COLORNAL V2030 in a matte or semi-gloss finish. Both apply perfectly, create a durable surface and dry quickly. Renovation does not always have to mean demolition and mess, but rather just small changes that will have a great visual effect.
