Nordic trend: How to easily create a rejuvenating Whitewash Effect?
Whitewash is a technique where a very diluted white paint is applied to the wood, filling the pores and subtly coloring the surface, but allowing the original structure to shine through. The result is a light, airy, yet still natural look, perfect for Scandinavian and boho styles.
How to do it: You can use a transparent glaze to which you add a small amount of white pigment, which may be unnecessarily complicated for some, or you can use a white shade such as COLORNAL V2030 in a matte orsemi-gloss finish. Apply the paint in a thin layer with a brush, achieving a fine, incomplete coverage in the case of 1 layer.
Another option is to use thick-layer glaze S1025 in white on more absorbent surfaces.
