How to effectively protect wood.
Wood protection here refers to the use of special materials for the long-term prevention or elimination of biological attack on wood and wood-based materials. It is a biocidal (fungicidal) protection against wood-destroying fungi, wood-destroying insects and wood-discoloring molds.
HOW TO PROTECT WOODEN WINDOWS, DOORS, SHUTTERS?
FUNGISTOP S1031 provides wood protection against wood-discoloring fungi, molds, insects and partly also the effects of weathering. FUNGISTOP uniquely combines the properties of a biocidal impregnation agent and deep colorless penetration and wood strengthening "2 in 1". FUNGISTOP has a wide range of uses, it is the optimal choice, for example, under synthetic and water-based coating systems for the protection of stressed stable elements (windows, doors, shutters, etc.). FUNGISTOP is intended for direct application, so there is no need to dilute it or otherwise modify it. FUNGISTOP is offered in a colorless version and is therefore also suitable under colorless varnishes or glazes, as it does not change the color of the wood.
HOW TO PROTECT WOODEN TREADS, BEAMS, FENCING?
We recommend using concentrated water-based impregnation agents from the LIGNOSTOP series, especially LIGNOSTOP PROFI V1051 . LIGNOSTOP PROFI is a highly effective concentrated impregnation agent for thorough and long-term preventive protection of wood against wood-destroying fungi, including wood-rot, wood-discoloring fungi, molds and wood-destroying insects. The protective substances are 100% fixed in the wood after partial drying (approx. 3 hours) and are then completely non-leaching with water. This means that the treated wood can be exposed to rain during storage or installation, while the effectiveness of the protective substances does not change. High yield, 1 liter of concentrate treats up to 66 m 2 after dilution wood, e.g. roof trusses.
LIGNOSTOP HOBBY V1052 provides wood with the same broad protection as LIGNOSTOP PROFI, but as the name suggests, it is intended for coating smaller areas such as various hobby projects and realizations.
HOW TO PROTECT OLD BEAMS AND OLD WOODEN FURNITURE THAT MAY BE INSECT-INFECTED?
LIGNOSTOP SH V1055 is a highly effective alcohol-based concentrated impregnation agent for the protection of wood that is already attacked by wood-destroying insects, the elimination of insects (all their developmental stages) and at the same time long-term prevention against wood-destroying insect attacks. LIGNOSTOP SH can therefore be described as 2-in-1 – elimination and prevention. The new elimination efficiency is sufficient with a coating or spray, no injection is necessary. The product can also be diluted with technical alcohol (advantageous when used under paints).
